Nancy Ann Canipe

Nancy Ann Canipe, 87, of Charlottesville, gained her angel wings on December 26, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Canipe; parents Andrew and Emma Clements, her brothers and their wives, Linwood and Stella Clements and Lemuel and Dora Clements. She is survived by her sisters Esther Walker, Faye Davis and her husband Tommy, Ethel Clarke, and a brother Rodger Clements. She had four sons and their wives: Mike and his wife Mary Lou, Tony and his wife Robin, Darryl and his wife Sue and Michael John and his wife Cristal; three daughters, Debbie Loving and her husband Larry; Susan Morris and husband Steve and Anita Carver. She leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the Hospice of the Piedmont and the physicians and nursing staff at Martha Jefferson Hospital for the care our mother received during her last few weeks. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 2pm, at Teague Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
