Flora W Johnson

On February 16, 2023, Flora W. Johnson passed away peacefully at the age of 93, with her family by her bedside. She was born on June 1, 1929, in Cismont, Va. She resided in Charlottesville and Palmyra, Va.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Charles B. Johnson Jr.; her parents, John and Daisy Wayland; her sister, Violet Glass; and her brother, Eugene Wayland.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Starke and husband, Ashley; her son, Ralph Anderson and wife, Ann; her grandson, Evan Starke, wife, Meghan and great-grandson Walker, her granddaughter, Anna Dolin, husband, Dakota and great-granddaughter, Wrenley.

Flo a receptionist at Comdial known as “the candy lady” to most coworkers of her 30 plus year career lived up to the sweetness of her name. She was loved dearly by her family, friends, and anyone who was blessed to meet her. Her family was her world and she cherished every moment and memory she had with them. She will be dearly missed.

Family night will be held at Teague Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 5 until 7 p.m.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Charlottesville, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
