Fay was born In North Garden, Va., to the late Andrew Clements and Emma Ruth Gough Clements. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lemuel, Linwood and Roger Clements, and sister, Ann Clements Canipe.
Fay is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Tommy Davis; as well as sons, Jay Davis and wife, Kathleen, Phil Davis and wife, Teresa, Bobby Davis; daughter, Tracy O'Brien and husband, Ernie, 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther Walker and Ethel Clark, many special nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Fay loved North Garden and lived there until the age of 16, where she attended Trinity Methodist Church, and as a young girl was involved with the Lions Club Minstrel. Although being a full time Mother was her primary focus, she did many things to help provide for her family and have fun, which included working at Lake Monticello as a security guard, substitute teaching and driving a school bus. To give back to the community, she volunteered with the American Heart Association, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and spent many fun hours co-leading a Girl Scouts Brownie Troop in which her daughter belonged. Fay loved doing crafts, reading, growing plants, but mostly camping with family and friends at New Point Campground. She also loved to treasure hunt at yard sales and antique shops, however her most valued treasure was her family.
