Donnie W. Meadows

Donnie was born March 17, 1962 in Albemarle county. He worked for Allied Concrete for 37 years.

Donnie was preceded in death by father George H. Meadows, mother Lottie L. Meadows, and brother Timothy Thurston.

Donnie was survived by his loving wife Wanda Meadows of 40 years; children Alma Meadows and significant other Lynn Gentry of Waynesboro, Va., Claudia McNeil and husband Coty McNeil of Crozet, Va.; sister Phyllis Currier of Louisa, Nancy Morris of Charlottesville, Vicky Whitlock of Verona; brothers Norman Dudley of Maryland and Lee Meadows of Greene County, and many more. Donnie has four grandchildren that he held dear to his heart: Christopher Meadows, Casey Meadows, Haley Meadows, and Cameron McNeil.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Meadows, Donnie Dalton, Coty McNeil, Dustin Gregory, Paul Hayslett and Joe Hipes Jr.

The family would like to give special thanks to sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Donnie Dalton, co-workers, neighbors, family and friends for all their support during this time.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 1pm, at Teague Funeral Service in Charlottesville, with Preacher Terry Jewel of Gordonsville officiating. A graveside service will follow at Rockgate Cemetery in Crozet. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, from 6-8pm, also at the funeral home.
