Yvonne Cox Smith

Yvonne was a loving mother, devoted wife and loved laughing through life. She had a long battle with cancer and now laid to rest.

She is survived by her husband James Donald Smith; son Christopher James Smith; daughter Caroline Alaine Smith; Step daughters Lisa Carolyn Smith and Elizabeth Evans Smith; Step daughters Lisa Carolyn Smith and Elizabeth Evans Smith; sister Daryle Cox Hines ( Husband - David); brother Terry Cabot Cox (Wife - Jan); her Nieces: Robin Cherie Hines, Amanda Suzanne Cox-Guest (Husband - Mal), Jennifer Dare Fales ( Husband - Troy); great niece Kennedy Jade Hines; nephews Brian David Hines and James Cabot Cox.

A visitation for Yvonne will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 at 12:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. A funeral service will folow at 1pm. Burial will take place at Amity Presbyterian Church cemetery. The family would like to welcome all back to the funeral home for a catered luncheon following the commital service.
