Wylene Floyd Waddell

Wylene Floyd Waddell, 79, of Tega Cay, SC passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on February 16, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Effie Mae Floyd of Cochran, GA. She was predeceased by Jerry Waddell, her husband of 29 years. She was a devout Christian. She enjoyed serving others, gardening, and spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her children, Vicky (Jerry) Osborne of Cochran, GA and Kim (Brian) Strickland of Fort Mill, SC. She was a devoted Mema to her grandchildren, Nikki (Matt) Paulk of Cochran, GA, Traci (Norman) Pollock of Augusta, GA, Jared & Josh Strickland, great-grandchildren Victoria & Jackson Paulk. She is also survived by her siblings Avis Whited, Mahlon Floyd, Jewel Baker and Merle Kirkpatrick, all of Cochran, GA. She is also survived by her very dear friend and companion, George "Sarge" Parsons.
