William G. Pettit from Charlotte passed away at his home Tuesday morning September 15th 2015. Gordon was a Charlotte native, retiring from Charlotte Mecklenburg School system. He is survived by his son Gordon Pettit Jr. and his wife Andrea Pettit, his daughter Michelle Keistler and her husband Jeremy Keistler, a brother Gary Pettit, Sister Kim Williams, and his 5 grandchildren Jesse Stuckey, Chris Ingersoll, Dalton Rooks, Taylor Pettit and Justice Keistler. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, September 27, 2015, 1:00 PM at Christ Presbyterian Church, 2461 Arty Ave., Charlotte, NC 28208.
