William was a longtime employee of Gerdau Ameristeel and made many friends during his time there. As a dedicated Panthers fan, he owned seats at the Panthers stadium. He also loved Dale Earnhardt and was a PGA Tour lifetime member. To say he was a sports fanatic is an understatement.
William is survived by his mother, Linda; his siblings, Richard (Donna), Tracy (Terence), Robin (Butch), and John (Barbara); his coworkers and friends at Gerdau Ameristeel; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
William was preceded in death by his father, William Ralph Nolan, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Forest Lawn West Funeral and Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Dr. Charlotte, NC 28208. The family will receive guests between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
