Born in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, Billy was the 3rd of 4 children of Karl and Rebecca Brandt. He grew up in Maryland, and moved to North Carolina in 1985. He loved to play board games, build model aircraft and cars, and most of all loved to write notes and letters.
Billy leaves behind his sister, Sara DuChon, his brother, Henry Brandt, and his nieces Kelli Mooney and Allie Fitzsimmons. Billy was pre-deceased by his parents, Karl and Rebecca Brandt and his sister, Charlotte.
A celebration of Billy's life will be held in the chapel of McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte, NC at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
