William (Gary), 69, of Charlotte, North Carolina, died in his home on May 7th. He was born in Orangeburng SC in 1954 to Francis (F.W.) and Era Blackburn. From there, he grew up learning to work on cars, drive fast and live a full, fun life. He loved cars, music, and sharing stories with anyone he met.
William was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Era, and sister Elizabeth Atkins. He is survived by his wife, Sarah, daughter, Megan (Bradley) Joyce, and son Max. Grandchildren Levi and Lila Joyce. Sister Lynn (Leo) Pearson. And his beloved pets Tucker and Ollie.
The Family will be holding a Celebration of Life on June 1st, 2PM, at Little Church on Lane. 522 Moravian Lane, Charlotte NC 28207.
