Wiley Randolph Hedrick

Mr. Hedrick, age 74, of Charlotte, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital - Main. Born November 19, 1935 in Belmont, he was a son of the late Lloyd J. Hedrick and Vannie Benfield Hedrick. Mr. Hedrick retired as a welder of Charlotte Tank Incorporated.

The service to celebrate the life of Wiley Randolph Hedrick will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Herald Hedrick; seven children, Pam Viscount, Susan Clatterbuck, Bobby Owens, Kenneth Owens, Glenn Owens, Sandy Hoxit and James Owens; a brother, Charles Hedrick; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hedrick was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Hedrick; and three brothers, Aubrey, Stephen and Gene.
