Wanda Jones Allen

She was born to parents Jesse Willard Jones and Bessie Amelia Jones in Lakeport, CA on May 8, 1931.

Wanda was a very loving mother and always opened her home to those in need.

As we celebrate this beautiful life Wanda lived, we have peace knowing that she is now in the arms of Jesus and reunited with her husband.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett of 49 years and special friend Philip Frye.

She is survived by her daughters Sherri Smith (Craig), Cindy Biddy (Eddie preceded in death) and Julie Cato (Chris); grandchildren Morgan and James Barron, Kyle and Kirpatrick Biddy, Christa and Tyler Kellis, Austin and Camila Biddy and Caleb and Brittany Cato.

Also left to mourn her loss are her great grandchildren Ariana and Isabella Barron, Valerie and Juliana Biddy, Annabella and Everette Kellis, Cayden, Kenzie and Cole Cato.

Visitation will begin at 1pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. Funeral service will start at 2pm with burial immediately following service at Sharon Memorial Park.
