Walter Rozzelle Dulin Jr.

Wally went to be with his Savior and parents in heaven on the evening of December 28, 2015. His family was by his side when he began his journey home. Wally was a kind-hearted, loving man who enjoyed attending events that involved his grandsons and watching Duke basketball. He was well liked by his neighbors and was always willing to help with even the simplest task. Wally is remembered by everyone he met as a caring and giving person.

Wally and Chellyn had been married for 42 years after becoming high school sweethearts at Garinger High School (Class of 1970). Since his retirement, Chellyn had been his everything. They spent their time enjoying beach trips, day trips and just being together. He also spent his retirement enjoying his four grandsons that he adored so much.

Wally and Chellyn were blessed with two sons, Russell and wife, Lori and Brian and wife, Diem; four grandsons, Holden, Taylor, Bailey and Kamden; sister, Kaye Gwaltney; niece, Jennifer Perkins and husband, Kenny; nephew, John Gwaltney, Jr; and great nephews, Caleb and Branson.

The service to celebrate the life of Walter Rozzelle Dulin, Jr. will he held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 31st from the graveside at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
