Mr. Vito Tecla, 81, formerly of Boca Raton, FL died July 15 , 2011 at Levine-Dixon Hospice House. Born in Italy on May 19, 1930, he was a son of the late Salvatore Tecla and Antonina Oliveri Tecla. Mr. Tecla served in the Italian Army from 1949 to 1951 before moving the United States in 1958. He was a member of St. Joan of Ark Roman Catholic Church in Boca Raton and attended St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in Charlotte.
Mr. Tecla is survived by his son, James Tecla, of Charlotte and a sister, Cathy Ciaravino, of Port St. Lucie, FL.
The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Wednesday, July 20th at Babione Funeral Home in Boca Raton, FL. A wake service will be held at 7:00PM the same evening. Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, July 21st at Boca Raton Mausoleum.
