To Sue and your beautiful family, Vinnie was truly a Holy, beautiful man.  He was a shining example of how we should live our lives. All the little wooden crosses we all have are a testimony of how he shared his faith and his love. I and my family cherish our hand-made crosses that were made with love by this fine man. God bless you.

I had the honor of volunteering with Vinnie at St. Vincent de Paul in Hobe Sound, Florida.  He was an extraordinary man, we will never forget his dedication to his faith and family.

Vinnie was a wonderful and caring friend.  He and his family opened their hearts and their home to us from the first day we moved to Charlotte.  We are both just devastated at his passing. Vinnie was the most giving person and always had that great smile that could light up a room.  Woody and I will cherish our friendship with Vinnie and remember him always. Our sincere condolences and prayers are with you all at this time. Vinnie will be missed, but his beautiful crosses and art work of Christ in the garden at Gethsemane will always be a source of inspiration, comfort, and a reminder of a cousin whose faith sustsins us all.

We will always remember his smiling face and inspirational words.  All of my children remember him fondly as the kind man who made the pretty crosses.  As long as Vinnie was there things were running smoothly, people were well-fed and happy.  He will be sorely missed by the St. Luke community.

Vinnie was a good friend.  He was always a help to me on Knights of Columbus meeting night in the kitchen.  He will be greatly missed by me. I will keep the cross he gave me by my side.

We first learned of Vinnie's passing tonight as we celebrated Jasmine's 6th birthday at Dinner with the Princesses in Disney World. Even in the midst of our celebration all three of us shed tears for Vinnie as he and Susan treated us just like their own children and grandchildren. It's been a while since I've lost someone close to me. We love you Mr. Vinnie. You will be greatly missed but we know you will always be smiling down on us.

Vinnie was omnipresent at St. Luke! The parish community will not quite be the same without his beautiful smile and constant supply of rough/smooth crosses. He is in a much more beautiful place, though. And we will keep his wonderful memory alive whenever we gather together in faith and community.

I am so heart broken for you Sister dear.  You share a special relationship with Vinny.  I am going to miss him more than you can ever imagine.  My heart aches for you.  You have your faith and you two shared such a strong relationship in that faith.  You need to hang on to all those special moments that you shared together.  He is at peace now and with the Lord, giving out his crosses in heaven.  It is us who mourn his present here on earth.  May God Bless him and Bless you and the family as well.  Keep the faith. I too keep the cross he gave me on my desk where I have to move it around, but I do that on purpose because it is a constant reminder.

I am very grateful for Uncle Vinnie's impact on my husband's life.  He would not be the wonderful man he is without Uncle Vinnie's prayers and influence.  In the short time I knew him, Uncle Vinnie was also an inspiration to me in living a virtuous life.  I will miss him very much.
