Charlotte - Miss Marshall, 79, passed away on January 11, 2020. She was born on October 6, 1940 in Butler, PA, a daughter of the late Thomas and Emma Gretta Marshall.
Mom gave me a small card many years ago. We were going through some tough times and she was worried about me. I have kept it in my wallet for more than thirty years. It reads: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. I hope they bring comfort and serenity to all her family and friends at this difficult time.
Vera is survived by daughters, Miss Gayle Rae McIntosh and Mrs. Jacqueline Marie McLeod and a sister, Mrs. Marilyn Faye Denny.
Services will be private for the family.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
