She was born on October 23, 1957 in Florence, South Carolina. Valeria had two sons, Julian and Joseph. After she received her Bachelor's degree, she had a diverse career working in several different industries, but her true passion was interior design. She had her own company and loved making her client's homes beautiful. Valeria was a special soul who will be greatly missed by those who loved her the most.
Valeria was predeceased by her parents, Julius and Alberta Augustus, and brothers, Julius Augustus, Jr. and Charles Augustus.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Spells and Julian Augustus; her brothers, Sherman Augustus and Ronald Augustus; sister, Jacquelynn Williams; and her close friend, Chaymae Zekhnini.
