Troy Ervil Brock

Troy was born to Jeffery Ervil Brock and Sherri Elizabeth Brock (nee Fowler) on January 5, 1981 in Hapeville, GA. Troy loved his native Georgia where he lived until his eighteenth year when he relocated with his mother and siblings to Charlotte, NC.

Upon moving to Charlotte, Troy quickly established himself as a skilled apprentice in the industrial electrical field. Through his hard word in that field, he purchased a home at the young age of 20. It was during this time that he met Sara Ward, who would become the mother of his two children, Savannah Elizabeth Brock (17) and Isaac Lee Brock (16), both of Charlotte, NC.

Troy is survived by his children Savannah and Isaac; a beautiful granddaughter, Jada Marie; his mother, Sherri of Charlotte, NC; his father, Jeff Brock of Toccoa, GA; his two sisters, Tiffany Taylor Brock of Bakersville, NC and Madison Moncrief Schaffer of Boone, NC; and his brother, Trey Nelson Brock of Dawsonville, GA. Troy is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Maureen Sanders of Chattahoochee Hill Country, GA and his paternal grandfather, Ervil Brock of Dawsonville, GA. He is survived by countless aunts, uncles and cousins.

Troy was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Tara Maureen Brock; his maternal grandfather, Clarence Nelson Fowler, and his paternal grandmother, Jean Dove.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 14, at 3:00pm at McEwen Funeral Service – Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC. Visitation will start at 2:00pm.
