Tonya was born on December 23, 1964 in Charlotte, NC. She graduated in 1983 from Independence High School then went on to graduate from UNC Charlotte with a Business Degree.
Her career began at First Union Bank until 2001 when she stayed home to raise her children and eventually a surrogate grandmother to Nolan and Kendall who lovingly called her "Bobo".
Tonya spent as much time as she could at her beach house on Oak Island. Here is where she sat on the beach, looked for shells and spend time with family and friends ( the more the merrier).
Tonya was an avid cocker spaniel owner for the past 40 years.... she always had a cocker spaniel. She was a collector of cats and a friend to all animals in need.
She was a huge Carolina fan... all sports... even more after her daughter, Savannah, graduated from Chapel Hill.
She was predeceased by her father, Yates McCall.
Tonya leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 32 years, Daren Moore, her children; Savannah and Tucker Moore, mother, Carolyn McCall, sister, Tammy McCall Burns, and niece, Christina Morgan.
