Born August 26, 1947 in Toccoa, GA, he was a son of the late Thomas and Lois Pearson English.
Tom was proud to mention that he was a quarterback at Clemson University in 1965-1969. However, he will mostly be remembered for being a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survived by his wife of 39 years, Lynn English; son, Jason English (Kimberly); granddaughters, Grey and Violet English; sister, Kristie Graham; nephew, Luke Graham (Ashley) and niece, Sara Key (Marc).
Memorial service will be held at three o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 6th of August, at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel with a visitation held one hour prior to the service.
