Mr. Timothy Tanner, 54 a native and life long resident of Charlotte North Carolina passed on May 13th 2017 peacefully with his family beside him. Tim was born June 5th, 1962, the son of the late John Thomas Tanner II and Ruth Brooks and step son of the late Col. Robert W. Brooks.
He is preceded in death by his brother, John Thomas Tanner III and step sister Sharon Simpson.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Amber Tanner and fiancé Rhett Vandiver, fiancé Tracy Gregory, Brother David Grubb and his wife Debbie, Sisters Carol Henley married to John Henley, Rhonda Cleapor married to John Cleapor, Cindy Wingate married to Lloyd Wingate, Marilyn Mahar married to Wayne Mahar, Olga Schaber married to Ralph Schaber, step sister Cindy Templin married to Glen Templin, and step brother Bobby Brooks as well as many beautiful nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm Saturday June 3rd at Mulberry Baptist Church 6450 Tuckaseegee Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214
