Timothy Charles Leatherman

Timothy Charles Leatherman, (Tim) 29, died on April 25, 2019. Tim is the child of Steffanie Leatherman and the late Kevin Lee Leatherman, and the grandchild of Union County residents, Elaine and Melvyn K. and Roger M. of Baltimore, MD and Susan K. of Tucson, AZ, and many loving aunts and uncles.

Tim was known for his care and love for the younger members of his family, including sisters, Megan Leatherman and Haleigh Thomas; brother, Dylan Valainis; and for his many cousins; and, he was a loving uncle to Megan’s daughter, Serenity Fox. He was happy in his relationship with his girlfriend, Lauren Floyd, and a parent figure to Lauren’s daughter, Madilyn.

Tim attended Martinsburg (WV) High School, and was employed as a telecommunications specialist. Tim enjoyed driving fast cars, rock and roll music, skateboarding, and surfing on the California coast. He loved and cared for all animals, and had special affection for his dog, Chiamara.

A Service of Mourning Tim’s loss, Celebration of his Life, and Blessing for his friends and family will be held at Parklawn Cemetery, 12800 Viers Mill Road, Rockville, Maryland 20853, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
