Timothy George Hefner

Timothy was born November 5, 1982 in Charlotte, and was a son of the late Kenneth Wayne Hefner. He is survived by his mother Kim Braswell McPhail and his son Michael Braswell Hefner.

Following graduation from Charlotte Christian School in 2001, he attended the University of South Carolina. Timothy earned his BS degree in Business and Finance.

Upon graduation, he pursued a career in the family business, Charlotte Paint and Body Shop, Inc. Timothy later furthered his career in the automotive sales industry with both Akzo Nobel and the 3M Corporation.

Timothy's joy in life was his role of being a devoted Dad to his son Michael Braswell Hefner.

Timothy was an avid golfer and competitor. He spent many hours on the golf courses at Providence CC and Elk River Club, both at a young age and as an adult. Nothing brought him more pleasure than sharing this passion with his granddad, dad and most recently introducing his son, Wells, to the game of golf.

Timothy's love of God was fostered by his church, South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church, Charlotte Christian School and family.

A service to celebrate Timothy's life will be held at South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church, 8601 Bryant Farms Road, Charlotte, NC on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 2:00pm.
