Thomas Earl Tevepaugh III, known affectionately as Tom or Tommy, was a proud lifelong resident of Charlotte, NC. He worked in the Retail Services field for over 20 years, most recently for Presence Marketing. Tommy loved his job and cherished the relationships and lifelong friendships he built along the way. Tommy’s greatest joy came from connecting with others. If you spoke with him for more than two minutes, you became one of his best friends. His friendships meant the world to him, and he was always there for his friends at a moment’s notice. He loved fishing and spending time on the lake, talking about guns and knives, playing PS5 with his friends, and cheering on his beloved Carolina Panthers, wearing their colors with pride no matter the season. Music was a daily part of his life, and he loved attending concerts. He was also an avid listener of Howard Stern, getting his news and current events through Stern’s interviews on his commute to and from work. Above all, Tommy’s love for his family was unparalleled. His “Sissy,” Kelly, was not just his sister but his lifelong best friend, and their bond was unbreakable. He adored his niece, Alicia, and their shared interests and humor made their relationship uniquely special. Recently, Tommy became a second time “Unkie” to his nephew, Gianni, and he couldn’t wait to teach him all the fun and mischievous “boy ways” as he grew up. Despite being a small family, their closeness and unwavering love for one another created an unshakable foundation of support and joy. Tommy deeply loved his fiancée, Christina, and never missed an opportunity to share how lucky he felt to have her by his side.
Tommy’s legacy is one of deep love and devotion to his friends and family. He would want those he cared about to gather, reminisce, and celebrate the good times, as the moments spent together were what he treasured most.
Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Earl Tevepaugh Jr.; his mother, Patricia Ann Martina Tevepaugh; and his beloved dog, Panzer. He is survived by his sister, Kelly Dianne Tevepaugh; niece, Alicia Nicole Tevepaugh; nephew, Gianni Thomas Munoz; fiancée, Christina Lamonds; and his beloved dog, Kara.
