Ted Wilson Wise, Jr, a cherished husband, father, PawPaw, son, brother, and friend, went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2024. Ted's passing will certainly leave a void in the hearts of those he cherished the most; his wife Linda, his sons, Tim and Jon, his grandchildren.
After serving as Building Superintendent for Mecklenburg County EMS for thirty years, Ted began his retirement with dreams of mustangs, rat rods and race cars, but God would have other mountains for him to climb. After graduating from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor's Degree in Bible Studies, Ted returned to North Carolina where he faithfully served as choir director at Open Book Baptist Church and dedicated his life to sharing the love of God with others.
With Linda by his side, Ted bravely climbed each mountain before him, until he entered the gates of Heaven where his Lord surely said to him, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
A graveside for Ted will be held Monday, September 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.
