Sorry I am unable to attend the services for Aunt Sylvia.  Please be assured she was remembered during all the Liturgies I celebrated this weekend.  Also be assured all of you were remembered during this time of sorrow.  You will continue to be remembered in my prayers, as the entire family is daily. Rita and I have known Steve and Sylvia for many years in Endicott and Charlotte. I worked with Steve at IBM in many projects.
Recently, Sylvia was very helpful to me in the St.Gabriel's OWLS club as she handled the decorations and I was President. You could always count on Sylvia. We know that Sylvia suffered from Alzheimer's in the last years of her life and she was remembered daily in our prayers. May she rest in peace with Steve.

Aunt Sylvia was my Godmother and her husband Steve, my Godfather. They were picked to be my Godparents because I was born on June 11, the same day as their wedding anniversary. For many years on my birthday, I would call them to wish them a happy anniversary. Aunt Sylvia was my dad's sister, and Uncle Steve my mom's brother. Our families led very parallel lives. My parents were married in May 1960, Uncle Steve and Aunt Sylvia in June 1960. My parents had 6 children, Uncle Steve and Aunt Sylvia had 6 children. I remember the many vacations we'd take to New York to visit them as well as a special vacation to Charlotte the year I graduated from high school. I have many fond memories of those visits and the 4th of July gatherings at Grandma and Grandpap Peduzzi's. I remember a special visit I made to them many years ago. I was stuck in Atlante on a business trip with all flights cancelled due to bad weather. I decided to drive up to Charlotte to visit Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Steve since I had nowhere else to go. It was near Christmas and Aunt Sylvia was in full decorating mode. So I was helping her and she shared many stories about the Peduzzi family that I had never heard and we talked all day long while decorating about a lot of things. That memory stays with me to this day. To Stephen, Billy, Sue, Beth, Jim and Danny my deepest condolences. To Sue, you did an amazing job caring for your mother in these last few years. May you all find comfort in knowing that she's at peace and reunited with Uncle Steve, Grandma and Grandpap. You will all be in my prayers and much love goes out to the entire family.

My Aunt Sylvia was an amazing person, beautiful, who raised her children to be the best they can. My heart is filled with sadness but God requested her to become an angel. May she be at peace with Uncle Steve. My thoughts and my prayers go out to the family and friends who knew Aunt Sylvia. It is sad that she's no longer here with us on Earth but there's no doubt in my mind she's looking down on us and taking care of us in Heaven. Sue may God give you the strength you need at this time and God Bless you for all you did. May my Aunt Sylvia be at peace and no longer suffering . You will be sadly missed but your legacy will continue.
