Suzanne Ngalula Mbiya

A native of Luebo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mrs. Mbiya was born to the late Samuel Kalamba and Esther Bapu on December 19, 1940. She was a member of The Grove (formerly Hickory Grove Presbyterian Church). Mrs. Mbiya was the widow of the Rev. Dr. Jacques Mbiya Mulumba, legal representative of the presbyterian church in Kasai Province, Democratic Republic of Congo.

Mrs. Mbiya is survived by her son, Dieudonne Mulumba Mbiya (Kimberley); daughter, Agnes Mbiya; brothers, Ghalamulume Isaac Kalamba, Kamile Kalamba, Bombindi Kalamba; sisters, Masonsa Elisabeth Kalamba, Jacqueline Mbiya Kalamba, Mikitshi Kalamba, Naomi Kalamba; grandchildren, Jacques Mbiya, Bedrick Yobo, Brandon Yobo, Rasheed Yobo, Jessica Jones and Makenzie Hall.

The funeral service will be held 1:00p.m., Saturday, July 1 at The Grove, 5735 E. WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte with Pastor Kate Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m., Friday, June 30 at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte.
