Steven Douglas Hale of Asheville, went home unexpectedly to be with the Lord on March 18, 2017. Steve was born on May 9, 1978. He graduated from Providence Senior High School in Charlotte. Steve loved all animals great and small, gardening and soccer. He was loved by so many and will be missed beyond words. Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Ponder, Sr. and Lt. Colonel and Mrs. Richard V. Hale He is the beloved son of Karen Ponder Hale and Douglas Richard Hale and younger brother to Andrew Richard Hale.
A service to celebrate Steve’s life will be at 2 pm on Friday, March 24 at McEwen Pineville Chapel immediately followed by a visitation.
