Sarah Ann Bennett Baucom, 64, went on to be with the Lord on December 24th 2016. She was born June 17th, 1952 in Chester, South Carolina the daughter of James Alvin Bennett and Grace Davis Bennett. She is preceded in death by her brother Alvin Bennett.
She was the owner & Secretary of Baucom's Canvas Awnings for more than 45 years. She was a member of New Covenant Church of Mount Holly.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years of love and friendship, Clifford Roger Baucom; one daughter, Kathy Baucom; 2 sons, Michael Baucom, Clayton Baucom; Brothers, James & Robert Bennett; sisters, Rosi Lowery and Mary White; 13 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held in the Paul Helton Chapel at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC on Thursday, December 29 at 1pm. The visitation begins at 12pm. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
