Mrs. Sara Mae Kennedy Riddle

Sara Kennedy Riddle, age 71 of Charlotte passed away March 3, 2015 at Carolina Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Saturday, March 7th, at Shady Brook Baptist Church, Pastor George Sherman officiating. Visitation will be from 6-9PM Friday evening at the Shady Brook Baptist Church, 2940 Belmeade Drive. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Mrs. Riddle was born in Toccoa, Ga. October 26, 1943 daughter of the late Ralph E. and Jewel Thomas Kennedy. She was a member of Shady Brook Baptist Church, Edna Craig Sunday School Class and retired after 36 years from Workflow as a binder. Surviving are daughters, Michelle Rex (Bill) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Rena Walsh (Greg) of Scio, N. Y., son, Wayne Kennedy (Trina) of Mint Hill, grandchildren, Cameron Rex (Jessica), Trey Rex (Erika), Evan Rex, Payton Walsh, and Preston Walsh, sisters, Barbara Hicks (Charles), Mary Cash (John), Ruth Bowen, and Ann Lathan (Dean) all of Toccoa, Ga., and brother, Hugh Kennedy of Lavonia, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David M. Riddle and sister, Glenda Moody and husband, Jim. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s choice.
