Sandra Gwendolyn Keziah Clinard, age 68, died Monday, June 30, 2014 at Novant Matthews Medical Center. A native of Charlotte, she was born on September 9, 1945 to the late Ralph Keziah and Grace Hall Wooten. Mrs. Clinard retired from Eastern Airlines in 1989 and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was past Worthy Matron of Queen City 306 and past president of Camelette Red Fez Shrine Club. Mrs. Clinard enjoyed playing bridge, reading and going to Lake Wylie with family and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, July 3nd at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park with Rev. John Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Well of the Apostles Garden of Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00PM to 9:00PM, Wednesday evening.
Mrs. Clinard is survived by her husband of fifty years, William Thomas “Tommy” Clinard, II; a daughter, Robin Colleen Clinard; two sons, William Thomas Clinard, III, Jonathan Scott Clinard;
a sister, Marcia Landsdowne; a brother, Earl P. Harding and two grandchildren, Cory Clinard and Kelly Sanders, all of Charlotte.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clinard was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Ferrell.
