Salvatore Paul Daronzio, 57, of Charlotte passed away on November 10 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Sal was born on September 22, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY. He was an avid NY Mets fan and enjoyed his model Lionel trains.
Sal is predeceased by his father, Vincent Daronzio. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, JoAnn Daronzio; devoted canine, Bailey; mother, Catherine Daronzio; brother, Stephen Daronzio and his wife, Tracey. He is also survived by his sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 17 at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte followed by a reception and receiving of friends from 2:30 until 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sal’s honor to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas
