Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Kuntzman of Norwood, NC; her daughter-in-law, Geri Drummond of Eagle Lake, FL; her sister, Lucille Markowitz, of Hawthorne, FL; and her grandchildren and great grandchild, Tara & Tommy Hornick (Benjamin), of Indian Trail, NC, Nicole & Aaron Boyer of Honolulu, HI and Cheri & Jay Day of Eagle Lake, FL.; and nieces Tina Scheer and Charice Markowitz of Hawthorne, FL.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Paul Drummond of The Villages, FL, her son, Gregory Paul Drummond, of Eagle Lake, FL, her niece Luanne Markowitz of Ocala, FL and her parents Peter and Anna Greco of Niles, Ohio.
Rosemary was born on April 7th 1926 in Niles, Ohio, to Peter and Anna Greco.
In 1958, she moved to South Florida and opened a Drug Store where she was Pharmaceutical Assistant/Owner. She retired after 30 years from Humana Hospital in Adventura, Florida.
Rosemary was a loving daughter and mother. She married Charles in 1945 and the couple had two children together.
Rosemary enjoyed watching the NFL (Go Dolphins) & college football (Go Gators & Tebow), horse racing at Gulfstream Race Track, dog races at Hollywood Dog Track and the love of her own sports cars. She never owned a 4 door car. Those were for old people even though she drove until she was 87 years old.
She was dedicated to her faith and prayed to the Rosary. Her family and friends will always remember her classy and sometimes sassy take on life as well as her very distinctive and special sounding tone of voice.
A celebration of life is scheduled at 10 am on Tuesday December 10th 2019 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park. 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.
Rosemary will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery on Thursday, December 12th. 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL.
