Ronny graduated from the University of Kentucky and remained a lifelong fan of UK Athletics, supporting them his entire life. Ronny always loved his Kentucky roots, but he also made a home and a life in Mint Hill, NC. Ronny spent his career working for IBM as the East Coast Regional Manager, spending 34 years there before he retired. He loved antiques, shopping, traveling, but mostly he loved his family. Ronny loved his wife Paula and went to great lengths to make sure she knew she was treasured.
Ronny is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Paula West.
He is survived by his son, Jordan West (Jessica); his grandson, Parker; his mother, Kaye Honeycutt; and many other friends and family.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC. A Funeral Service will be held the next day at 10:00 am on Monday, February 12, 2024 at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel with burial following at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC.
