Rondo Micajah McIntosh III, 81, of Indian Trail, North Carolina was called peacefully to his eternal Heavenly home on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Rondo was born on May 16, 1942 to Rondo Jr. and Myra McIntosh.
Rondo graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC. He was a lifelong Charlottean and known for his "Super Fantastic" greetings. His friendly smile and warm personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Rondo was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Rondo McIntosh IV.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carolyn McIntosh; his daughters, Anita Childers (Jeff) and Wanda Helms (Wayne); his daughter-in-law, Monica McIntosh; his grandchildren, Brandon Helms (Amber), Kevin Helms (Cassie), Carson Hagemann (Cody), Zac Childers (Laura), Logan McIntosh (Isabella), and Aidan McIntosh; his great-grandchildren, Allyson Childers, Ryan Childers, Jackson Hagemann, Brooklynn Helen Helms, Emmett Hagemann, and Elijah Helms; his brothers, Wayne McIntosh (Cindy) and Hal McIntosh (Linda); his sister, Wana Reamer (John); his brother-in-law, Tom Jackson; his sister-in-law, Diane Barnhardt; and many other loving extended family members.
A Celebration of Rondo's Life will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church, 1117 South Boulevard, Charlotte, NC. A visitation will be held prior from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
