Ronald Andrew Hess

Randy, 45, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at his home in Charlotte, NC. He died peacefully in the presence of his family. Born November 7, 1969 in Ahoskie, NC, he was a son of Ronald LeRoy Hess and Janet Sanders Smoak Hess.

Randy’s careers in life were that of musician, artist and professional painter. Much of his time was spent helping and giving emotional support to others in their respective journeys. He had a sensitivity for struggles in life. Randy carried a strong faith with him. His joy in life is reflected in “One Man’s Dream”.

Randy is survived by both parents and two brothers, Robert LeRoy Hess and Richard Benjamin Hess.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold A. Smoak and Anne Frierson Smoak of Charlotte, NC and John Claude Hess of Harrisonburg, VA.

A service of celebration will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9th from the graveside in Lickville Presbyterian Church Cemetery in South Carolina.
