Ronald Davis was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina transitioned peacefully on Saturday evening, March 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered by his many accomplishments.
Ronald had a passion for academics and attended Duke University for undergraduate and then University of Chapel Hill where he obtained his Juris Doctorate.
Ronald went on to marry Florence Davis in 1972 and have been married for nearly 50 years. Ron built a successful law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina where he specialized in bankruptcy and foreclosure law. His love for education, politics, current affairs, and various charity involvements were apparent by his dedication of his time and generous donations. He was a dedicated father and enjoyed spending his time with his family. Ronald was also very active in the Mecklenburg Jaycees, Jaycee Senate and Jaycee Senate International Legal Counsel.
In his retirement he enjoyed volunteering for the local police chapter in Matthews, NC. Ronald had a love for Duke basketball and got to witness the first round of the NCAA championship this season. Go blue devils! He will be missed but will live on through his loving family.
Ronald is preceded in death by his mother Louise McWhirter; father Harry Wyatt Davis; and brother Richard Wyatt Davis Those left to charish his memories are Wife Florence Davis; son Mark Wyatt Davis (Anna); granddaughter Teagan with an additional granddaughter expected in July.
