Roger retired from Celenese Corporation retiring from Research & Development after 25 years of service. Roger was a veteran of the Korean conflict serving as a military policeman. Roger was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC and former member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC.
Roger was preceded in death by a son Neal Davis. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruby J Davis; brothers Graham (Frances) Davis of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Mitchell (Pat) Davis of Wesley Chapel, NC, Douglas (Gloria) Davis of Indian Trail, NC; sister Linda (Doug) of Bucyrus, OH; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte on Thursday, August 30, 2018 beginning at 1pm. Service will follow at 2pm. Interment will be at Sharon Memorial Park.
