Robert L. Shotwell

Bob left this earthly home on Monday, February 18, 2013 to be with his Lord and Savior. He passed quickly, following an unexpected heart attack. He was born October 24, 1956 in Richmond, VA, and was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth (Dibby) Shotwell in 1995.

Bob is survived by his father, Bill Shotwell; his sister, Elizabeth Jacobs, and her sons, Kyle and Michael Jacobs; and his brother, Billy Shotwell, his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Dallas, Maverick and Presley Shotwell.

Bob attended Charlotte Latin High School and graduated from Wingate University. Bob worked in retail, and was most recently store manager of American-ArmyNavy store. He had also worked as sales manager of Aaron’s Sales & Lease in Forest City, and earlier was store manager of Rent-A-Center in Charlotte.

A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, February 22nd, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, where he was a member and a regular attendee.
