Robert Earl Rogers, 78, of Charlotte, passed away September 22, 2022 in his home. Born October 6, 1943 in Nichols, SC, he was the son of Richard and Mary Jane (Legette) Rogers. He married Mary Burke on October 7, 1979.
A Veteran of the U.S. Navy, Robert retired from B.F. Goodrich after 37 years of employment. He was a member of Paw Creek Ministries.
A hard worker and an avid Clemson Tigers fan, Robert enjoyed gardening and trips to Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Rogers; son, Brian Rogers; stepsons, Robert (Judith) Burke and Billy (Candace) Burke; sister, Susie Cooke; 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Robert Rogers Jr.
