This man was my mentor! He was directly responsible for my being commissioned as an Air Force officer in 1975. He enrolled me in college and paid for my 1st course in 1972! We remained close friends for more than 50 years!

I was deeply saddened to hear about Bob's passing. Jody and I had the pleasure of being his neighbors for 20 years in the Woodbridge neighborhood. I have fond memories of our frequent chats during my dog walks, where his sense of humor would always leave me laughing. Bob's presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Grandad, 
  You tried every chance to get me interested in Country music....but it didn't work.
   You tried to give me a grasp of mathematics...but that didn't work either.
   And to this day, every time my elbow bends my mouth still fly's open.
   
   You always had a desperation towards teaching me about the Lord too. We'd sit elbow to elbow, and you'd try to lead me through the Word, while your eyes studied my face for any sign of enlightenment. Did you know then, that all I wanted was you?
   Years later, homeless in Florida, I called to say that I had become just that....homeless. 
   But, more importantly how I had found Jesus, or rather how He had found me. 
    You quickly asked, "When did you get so smart"?    
   I learned of your passing, and yes, Grandad..I know where you are. Your being in Heaven brings comfort to me, and I'm sure in does for Granny as well. 
     So, until the day we meet again, just know I will be thinking of you, like I am now while writing this. 
Listening to Conway Twitty and just letting the tears flow.

My deepest sympathy to Coleen and the family.  I have great memories of Bob, serving with him at church and on mission trips.  They were meaningful times. Bob was fun to be with.  Though saddened by his death, I know he is now with His Lord that he knew and served.

I know that it is hard losing a husband or wife who we have been married to for many years.
Bob Ramsey has been a long time friend for over 20 years.  We have been on many missions trips together.  Some were construction trips where we did work on building churches, some were evangelistic where we preached the Word of God, and others were recovery efforts after floods ad hurricanes. We also served together as Gideons. 
 Bob is a great guy and has always been a man that I was proud and honored to call MY FRIEND.

Received the deepest condolences from the Laurencio Family.  I now live in America (Miami), but I had the chance to work along side with Bob in one of his trips to Cuba about 15 or 17 years ago when I still lived in Cuba.  He worked very hard in the remodeling of the offices of Eastern Baptist Convention, lifting many buckets of sand all the way to the third floor of the building, and also piling a lot of old bricks.  He was a great leader, and a hard working man, plus a servant o the Lord.  May God's peace be with you all!

Colleen, so sorry to hear of Bob's death.  He was a faithful servant and impacted many people with his life and deeds.  It is hard to lose a spouse and I know you will miss him greatly.  I have prayed today that God will comfort you as only He can at a time like this.

Bob was a Godly man.  I got to know him when we when went on a Mission trip to Taiwan about 20 years ago.  Bob was a Gideon and wanted people to know the Lord.  He will be missed.
