Robert "Bob" Gingras

Robert “Bob” Gingras, beloved husband and father, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at his home in Charlotte, NC surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Providence, RI to Robert, Sr. and Rita (Ponton) Gingras. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BFA and continued his education at the University of Cincinnati where he obtained his MFA.

While working as an artist and printmaker in Los Angeles, CA he met the rose of his heart, Linda. They were married in 1985 and had their son, Aaron in 1990. For the next 35 years they lived in numerous cities around the country. Bob later worked at a variety of companies in various leadership roles where he utilized his artistic skills and acumen to help businesses with their digital transformation strategies and efforts. He was a true romantic; an avid lover of music, comic books, science fiction, travel, sports, and all things pop culture.

Bob is survived by his wife Linda (Loffredo); son, Aaron; siblings, Richard Gingras and Mary Ann Gingras; sisters-in-law, Helena Gingras and Cynthia Loffredo; brothers-in-law, Brian McGuckin and Michael Loffredo; and nephew, John Loffredo (Nicole & Devon).

Bob lost his battle from the ravages of pancreatic cancer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN) www.pancan.org
