Robbie Ruth Snodgrass

Robbie Ruth Robinson Snodgrass, 92, passed away peacefully August 22, 2016. Born in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Sallie Robinson.

Ruth attended Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church where she was a special member of the Rebecca Circle. She worked in several jobs over the years including, the VFW Auxiliary, North Mecklenburg High School Cafeteria, and her last job was working in Hanford Florist up until she was 68. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and making pillows.

Ruth is survived by her three sons; Frank (Pat) Snodgrass, Kenny (Charlotte) Snodgrass, and Billy (Debbie) Snodgrass. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin “Buddy” Franklin Snodgrass Sr. and her daughter, Phyllis Ruth Johnson.

A visitation with the family will be held from 10am-11am, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd, Mint Hill NC 28227. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 15000 York Rd, Charlotte NC 28278.
