Richard C. Walters

Mr. Walters, age 74, of Charlotte, died Friday, February 7, 2014 at his home. Born December 12, 1939 in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late Jesse and Virginia Filer Walters. Mr. Walters retired as an optical inspector.

The memorial service to celebrate the life of Richard C. Walters will be held 7:00 PM Friday, February 14th at McEwen Funeral Service - Derita Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Britt, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.

Survivors include four children, Gina, Greg, Brian and Mike; two daughters-in-law, Leigh and Ann; four grandchildren, Shannon, Cory, Jessie and Annalise; and two great grandchildren, Asia and Christian. In addition to his parents, Mr. Walters was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Lorna Jeanne Walters.
