Richard S. Sischo

Richard was born to the late Perry William Sischo and Dora Richmond Sischo on October 12, 1937 in Grand Haven, MI. He served in the United States Air Force until 1959 and served in law enforcement until 1988. Richard also served in the North Carolina Air National Guard and North Carolina National Guard until 1994. Richard is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sue Sischo and both were devoted members of Laurel Baptist Church in Charlotte. He was also a lover of dogs and volunteered at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte for a number of years. Richard is also preceded in death by a brother Jack Sischo.

Richard is survived by his son Perry Sischo (Melanie) of Charlotte, daughter Amy Murphy (Brian) and grandson Travis Murphy all of Mooresville, NC; sister-in-law Sandy Sischo of Norton Shores, MI and nephews Jack, Paul and Jeff Sischo of Michigan.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 25 in Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, 1504 W. Sugar Creek Rd., Charlotte, NC 28262.
