Richard Overman

Richard is survived by innumerable loving family members, unforgettable friends, and supportive colleagues who will carry with them the fond memories of past experiences with the force of nature that was Richard Jay Overman.

He leaves behind a life and legacy full of enormous love for family and friends, foul jokes, Ford motorsports, mentorship, and a community of gardeners to which he devoted much of his personal time. Richard was also a lover of the outdoors and fly fishing, which he spent countless hours pursuing amongst the creeks, rivers, marshes, and wetlands all over the United States with family and friends.

As a lover of an unpretentious life lived to the fullest, Richard was always quick to offer his wisdom to people who he wanted to see succeed. They always returned the favor with admiration and love due to his genuine and caring spirit. While Richard’s untimely passing will leave an unfillable gap in the lives of his loved ones, his wisdom and life lessons will live on forever in their hearts and minds.
