A celebration of life service for Ralph Lamar Scarboro will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at The Grove Church (formerly Hickory Grove Presbyterian) located at 5735 East W.T. Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28215. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorial gifts may be made to the church.
Family left to cherish Mr. Scarboro's memory include his wife, Dorothy Scarboro, his children, Deborah Snyder (Tom), Lamar Scarboro (Susan), Sandra McCormick (Bob), and Kimberly Scarboro; grand-daughters, Catherine Aldridge, Hannah Snyder, and Morgan Carnes, and great grand-daughter,
Tessa Jean Aldridge; stepdaughter, Ellen Carnes and step-son, Aaron Huffstetler. He is also survived by a sister, Betty Woolard, a brother, Earl Combs and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to offer sincere thanks to Pastor Kate Murphy (The Grove Church) and the staff of Hospice at Southminster.
