Rachel was a long-time resident of Paw Creek and a faithful member of Thrift Baptist Church. She was retired from BASF Corporation in Charlotte
She is survived by her children, Grover “Sonny” Moss and wife, Pat; daughter, Robin Parris; grandson, Ayrton; brothers James, George and Jerry Taylor; sisters, Flossie Vaughn and Frances Bowman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Thrift Baptist Church on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 11:00 am to 12:00pm and the funeral will follow at 12:00pm with Reverend Gene Latham officiating. Interment will be in the Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery in Peachland, NC at 3:00pm Monday.
