Preston LaMarr Johnson, 29, of Charlotte, NC, passed away August 9, 2022 from Thymic Cancer. He fought hard, suffered long and is now at peace. Born July 15, 1993, he was the son of Tera Johnson-McKenith and Davidson Henerson.
Preston graduated from Garinger School of International Studies in 2011.
He is survived by his daughter, Amora Blue Williams; mother, Tera (Marcus) Johnson-McKenith; father, Davidson Henderson; aunt, Desiree Henderson; brothers, Davidson N. Henderson Jr. and Adio James; sister Destiny N. Henderson and nephew, Dion Henderson.
A Memorial Service to honor Preston’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2022 at The Studio, 6636 E. W.T. Harris Blvd. N., Charlotte, NC28215.
