Peggy Saunders Plyler

Peggy Saunders Plyler, age 80, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 8, 2013, at Carrington Place. She was born on March 19, 1932, in Charlotte, a daughter of William Robert Saunders and Madge Ellen Saunders. Together with her parents she was predeceased by her brother Jesse Richard Saunders and a sister, Margaret Kathrine Saunders. She graduated from Harding High School, class of 1950, and Kings Business College class of 1953. She worked in the insurance business for many years and retired from Paul Revere Insurance Company. After her retirement she continued to work in the family business, TTM Communications, until her retirement in 2001. She was an active member of Sharon Forest Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by her beloved husband Jack L. Plyler, son Marcus R. Plyler and wife Sharon, grandson Jack E. Plyler, and sister Barbara Dellinger and husband Ray. A service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Sharon Forest Baptist Church located at 11020 East W.T. Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28212. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.
